09.08.07 | Rain wins at Thunder Mountain. The track crews at Thunder Mountain fought the good fight, but the night's racing activities eventually succumbed to mother nature. A line of showers drenched the track just prior to the gates opening. By 8:15pm, the track was ready for racing action as the 600 Modifieds got warmups in. After that the skies opened up again, dooming the event for good. The Hoosier Tires 600 Modified Series will return to action on Sunday, September 16th at Big Diamond Raceway.
