08.16.07 | Ardnt closes out Fairgrounds with win at Kutztown. The Hoosier Tires 600 Modified Series made their 2nd stop of the season at Kutztown Fairgrounds to close out the racing for 2007 season at the Fairgrounds. Kyle Gardner and Butch Getz scored heat race victories. The inversion placed Jeremy Guistwite on the pole and led at the drop of the green flag. Modified standout, Getz, spun on the first lap and was forced to the rear. Despite enduring several cautions, Guistwite remained on the point. Brett Ardnt slipped by Rick McGeady and set his sights on Guistwite. After several attempts, Arndt blasted over him on the outside in turns 1 and 2 on lap 8. Ardnt then cruised to his first victory in a 600 Modified. Guistwite finished a strong run in second followed by McGeady, George Loux and Getz who passed fourteen cars to garner a top five.
